Trucks are often heavier
Pickup trucks are generally larger and heavier than passenger cars, so they may contain more metal. That can support a higher value when other factors are comparable. It is still only one input: markets change, configurations differ and moving a heavier non-running vehicle can require more planning.
Completeness matters
A complete vehicle can be assessed differently from one missing major components. Engine, transmission, catalytic converters, wheels and other vehicle-specific parts may affect the result. Honest details and current photos matter more than a generic online weight table.
Condition can create value—and cost
A truck can have demand beyond raw material, while collision damage, severe corrosion, fire damage or missing parts can narrow the options. Flat tires, locked steering and difficult access can also change pickup.
A bigger truck is not automatically a bigger cheque
Two similar-looking trucks can differ in configuration, completeness, condition and location. A smaller car may also have value not obvious from curb weight. We quote the individual vehicle and do not publish a fixed truck premium.

Ask us whether pickup is included, what paperwork is required, how payment is handled and which details we need to provide an accurate quote. Pickup is included when we purchase a vehicle in our service area.
